The first of a range of Stay Safe projects looked at the issue of safely disposing of hypodermic syringes. The group designed and distributed information cards advising on local contact telephone numbers for discarded syring collection. An awareness raising video was also produced and distributed as part of the Healthy Schools Initiative to all primary schools in Leicestershire.

The second project under the Be Safe - Stay Safe theme was to raise awareness about the issue of drug assisted rape. The group members designed and distributed information cards about drug assisted rape. Giving practical advice on how to stay safe and contact telephone numbers for support.

This project will focus on raising awareness with young people about sexual health.
